Victoria Pavilion is Melbourne’s newest function venue situated at the iconic Melbourne Showgrounds located only 7km from Melbourne’s CBD.

How to get there?


Melbourne Showgrounds has its own train station that operates for selected events only. For further transport options including an A-B journey planner, please visit Public Transport Victoria.

Route 57 tram (West Maribyrnong to Elizabeth Street, City), stops at stop 32 (Showgrounds Village Shopping Centre on Epsom Road). Please note that the previously serviced stop 33 is no longer in use. Please listen to onboard announcements or check with your tram driver.


Onsite parking will be available for the day of the conference on Friday 25 March in the Carnival Carpark at $15 per vehicle. No parking costs will apply for guests attending the Welcome Reception on Thursday 24 March. 


Parking entry to Melbourne Showgrounds is via Gate 11 off Epsom Road. The overhead clearance is 2.1m.

Covid Safe Event

TMAA & Melbourne Showgrounds have implemented extra operating procedures

to ensure a safe and successful event for all involved.

All participants at the TMAA 2022 conference will be required to comply with the COVIDSafe guidelines and protocols in place at the Conference venue, which will be aligned and compliant with all relevant Government health advice during this time. 


Remember to:

  • Stay home if you are unwell

  • Maintain social distancing

  • Wash your hands regularly

  • Download the Service Victoria app

​Prior to arrival, please download the relevant check-in app Service Victoria app on the device that you will bring with you to the event and check in upon arrival. In Melbourne delegates will then proceed to the TMAA Registration Desk located in the foyer of the Victoria Pavilion. 

At the Conference, participants will be reminded to social distance and follow the instructions of ushers when entering the meeting rooms, or in public areas. Hand sanitisers will be available on site. Under current health guidelines, face masks are not required at this time.

Participants are reminded if they are feeling unwell and displaying COVID-19 symptoms (loss or change in sense of smell or taste, fever, chills or sweats, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath and runny nose), may have been in contact with someone with COVID-19, or in the last 14 days have travelled from overseas, that they should not attend the Conference. They should get tested and quarantine at home until test results are received.
